Bila Muuji Drug and Alcohol Network

Thursday, July 02, 2020

On the 1st of January  2020, the Murdi Paaki Drug and Alcohol Network transitioned to the Bila Muuji Aboriginal Corporation Health Service. As part of this exciting transition, the program has been assigned a new name which better reflects the future direction of the program and produces its own distinct identity from other similar name organisations and entities.

Nathan Peckham from Yurana Creative was engaged to developing artwork and a logo which conveys the journey our program has taken and to better capture the goals to work alongside the Aboriginal health sector to improve access to specialist drug and alcohol advice in the community.

We are excited to announce the program is now called the Bila Muuji Drug and Alcohol Network. The name was chosen as the most popular choice by staff as Bila Muuji ‘River Friends’ was something that resinated with our Aboriginal staff.
