CEO of Coonamble and Dubbo Aboriginal Health Service Phil Naden and member service of Bila Muuji Aboriginal Corporation Health Service had a ball yesterday promoting regional health services with Indigenous Basketball Australia.
Bila Muuji have been working with IBA and Gilgandra Basketball Association to bring basketball to the bush after an announcement by Patty Mills that he would work with IBA to promote basketball with ATSI people across the nation.
Yesterday former NBL star Tyson Demos attended Gilgandra with representatives from IBA for the first round of camps.
Tyson Demos is an Australian former professional basketball player and one-time assistant coach in the National Basketball League (NBL). He played nine seasons in the NBL with the Gold Coast Blaze and Illawarra Hawks.
Thanks to Gilgandra Basketball Association and Indigenous Australia for the opportunity to allow Bila Muuji to work with you whilst these camps are on in the region.
