It is with great please that Bila Muuji formally announce our partnership with the University of Technology Sydney for our new Research Position. Bila Muuji and the University of Technology Sydney Giraa Maa Indigenous Health Discipline are happy to announce that a 12 month full time Aboriginal Health Research Associate based at Bila Muuji has been established and we welcome Josie Newton to the role.
Josie's previous roles include positions at DoHA OATSIH, the Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council, and Aboriginal Health College where she worked as project officer coordinating various projects including Good Medicines Better Health, and Health Workforce Australia national CIV Training and Assessment.
During her career, Josie’s other experiences include working in high level administrative roles at National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC), Royal Australian College of General Practitioners General Practice and Primary Care Research Unit (RACGP GPPCRU) and NSWRDN.
This is a very exciting time for Bila Muuji and CEO Phil Naden welcomes our partnership with UTS, and takes this opportunity to thank Dr Megan Williams for her ongoing contribution with supporting Bila Muuji through our growth phase.
