We are pleased to have Jayne Lawrence join the team this week in the Clinical Educator position. As a Lecturer in Rural Indigenous Health Jayne will be a key staff member in the Three Rivers UDRH co-located with Bila Muuji. The primary role of this position is to lead the development of quality rural clinical training experience for health professional students within Aboriginal health settings across the central western area of NSW, whilst conducting research that impacts on the health of rural Aboriginal people. She will also undertake stakeholder engagement with Aboriginal health service providers, clinicians, faculties and schools within CSU to promote the objectives of the UDRH, while developing capacity for quality clinical training in existing and new settings.
Jayne’s past roles include but not limited to Midwifery Unit Manager and Clinical Midwifery Educator, and is currently undertaking her Masters in Midwifery with CSU.
